i'm not likely to be 100% in agreement of any framework reached by rubio and netanyahu but the direction they're taking in lebanon is the right direction and i hope they figure it out.

lebanon should not be a failed state, held hostage and overrun by foreign muslims trying to colonize it. lebanon should be a stable, modern, secular european state and it should aspire to join the eu by 2050, before the turks do. it should have prosperous western cities. both lebanon's history and it's future are in the west, but it must be as a sovereign state that can defend itself from invaders coming from it's east, and not as a colony of the european powers.
