there's two parts of canada that really aren't much like being in canada, in terms of climate.

- the very southern part of ontario, not including toronto but including windsor, london, kitchener, hamilton, niagara.
- the okanagan valley

these two very small regions do not have weather that is very canadian at all. windsor is further south than minnesota, wisconsin, iowa, most of michigan, a bunch of states moving west to washington and oregon and and the entire northeastern us, including almost all of new york. even toronto is a tad further north of boston.
