the snot green is humid subtropical, while the two shades of blue above it (detroit-windsor sits between the two shades of blue) are humid continental. the lower shade of blue is defined by hotter summers.
but as the subtropical zone moves north it swallows up st louis, detroit and chicago. it's only the smallest, most southernmost part of canada, but it's a place to enjoy the warmth.
i will reiterate my call to windsorites that don't like the weather: get lost. go to winnipeg, go to toronto, go to ottawa. leave this city for those that like the climate.
