in terms of quebec politics, i would prefer the pq to the caq and not support the quebec liberals. 

the liberals need to do something about that upstart conservative party if they want to get back into power. but the caq is also eating into the pq vote. the return of spectrum politics to quebec and the breaking of the nationalist-federalist spectrum is healthy for quebec society, but it hasn't resulted in a traditional spectrum. the quebec liberals are still very right-wing, and i'd rather vote for the pq.
