i was a fan of punk rock at the time. i'm reflecting my influences as a young person.

this song, which i wrote in 1997 when i was a 16 year old kid, continues to upset people, who have taken it far too seriously. i've had multiple platforms try to ban the track and i think it's the unabomber line that people freak out about.
no, i don't actually want to be like the unabomber. it's a sardonic commentary on the news media, it's not a statement of my inner freudian desires. or something. i like electricity. i'm pro-technology. i would share his contempt for the environmental destruction caused by carbon-based industry, but i actually think we can fix this.
