canada has made it clear that it is not going to voluntarily abide by it's carbon reduction obligations. we have slashed regulations at both the federal and provincial level. we've eliminated carbon pricing. we're moving backwards.
the international community clearly needs to impose this cost on us from the outside because we won't abide by our responsibilities as a sovereign society and do it ourselves.
i encourage the americans to impose this tax on us. and, in the meantime, canadians will get what they deserve - higher cancer rates, increased health care costs and lower standards of living. stupid is as stupid does.
