for clarity, the reason i'm building the fiction shelf up with all these kids books (i'm starting grade 3ish) and high school or university standard texts that i've mostly read when i was younger but sold or lost is that the first thing i'm refocusing on after i'm done setting up the apartment is this:

i sealed up the rest of the laundry this morning, and got some items in from amazon afterwards. i started on cleaning in the bathroom before i stopped to sleep. the fact that it's done is minor in practical terms but substantive in theory. it's all totally clean in there, now, and it's such a dramatic change from when i moved in here.

if i can get the front entrance finished in the next day or two i could be mostly done in here by the end of september, finally.
