i was prepared to spend a lot more on replacing my couch than i did. now that it's done, i should be able to rapidly fix up the rest of the open area off the kitchen. it might even be basically put together by the end of the weekend. 

what it means is that i should be able to pull together these documents pretty fast, as i sort through the various purchases i've made over the last six months via my bank, amazon and walmart records, and finally get all of these things installed. the couch was a big issue that's now resolved. expect me to update this stuff pretty rapidly and to have something to show for it pretty soon.
