there's still no end to the forecasted late summer / early fall temperatures here and we might even break a record on thursday. this october, we had one day where the high was 12 and two days where the high was 15. every other day here has been 16 degrees celsius or higher, including 9 days higher than 20 degrees, four (maybe five) of which were over 25. 15-20 degrees is considered late summer or early fall in canada. 25+ is considered peak summer.

we're waiting for the yearly crash, but it doesn't look like it's scheduled any time soon. if these 15+ degree days linger too far into november, winter will not be able to happen. there will be too much heat in the ground. it'll just rain, instead.

i should be able to get back to a normal lifestyle in the next few months, i hope. it does depend on these stalkers getting bored and going away and/or giving up and fucking off and/or catching them and sending them to jail. there has to be an end to this soon.

the cameras should be up in the next few weeks. that's something i can do while i'm saving money for the rdsp. i have the components ready to go and a new (old) system to install it on. it's a dell optiplex that i can put linux on.

while i will need to get out in the front to redo some waterproofing, the installation of the side door will eliminate potential access because i can go in and out through that door instead, which is right beside where i'm working. that change alone will make a huge difference.

i'll know they're gone when i know they're gone. i mean, i can hear them.

right now, i'm focusing on symptoms subsiding and experiences returning to normal.
