it's a reminder that technology is always a tool used by humans and that technology is never good or bad itself. bad human behaviour is always bad human behaviour.
we build technology for it's positive benefits, not for it's negative uses. we need to be open-eyed about potential negative uses of technology and be proactive about getting there first, but we should never seek to criminalize technology.
